Detailed project description
On 2025.11.13, HungaroBLECH Kft. was awarded funding under the GINOP Plusz 3.2.5-24-2024-00001 call for proposals entitled “Improving working conditions, Phase I”. With the help of this non-repayable grant, the company is implementing a development that raises the level of occupational safety for manual workers (welders) and enables the prevention of occupational diseases. The development directly affects the welding specialists (currently 16 people) who regularly use the company’s welding and grinding equipment as part of their duties and are consequently more exposed to the harmful effects of welding fumes, shielding gas and dust. The development also indirectly affects manual workers in other roles (currently 53 people) who work in the same airspace as the welding equipment.
The development will significantly reduce harmful fumes, shielding gases and dust generated during work. It provides local exhaust ventilation (LEV), directly protecting the health of manual workers and the air in the work area from high concentrations of pollutants.
The following occupational safety equipment will be purchased and commissioned as part of the investment:
8 KEMPER MaxiFil mobile filter units
2 Kemper FilterCELL XL stationary filtration systems
The KEMPER MaxiFil mobile filtration system is equipped with a 3-metre arm and automatic Start-Stop control.
The equipment can be used when welding high-alloy steels. Its versatile application enables safe operation through rotation direction detection, contamination-free filter replacement and integrated filter monitoring. The high capacity and long service life of the filters also enable economical operation, while the special design of the extraction hood reduces the frequency with which the extraction arm needs to be adjusted.
The KEMPER Filter-Cell XL filter cell is a stationary unit. It provides optimal protection against harmful substances in welding fumes and dust where large quantities of fumes and dust are generated. Its compact, space-saving design allows it to be installed in confined spaces, including directly on or next to cells or production equipment. Automatic filter cleaning ensures highly efficient operation. The KEMPER FilterCell XL extraction and filtration unit features automatic, timer-controlled filter cleaning. It is suitable for ducted extraction through extraction hoods, tables and robot cells. The welding fume filtration unit can be connected to welding robots, extraction hoods and extraction tables and has a cleanable filter cartridge coated with an ePTFE membrane layer. The unit is designed for continuous operation in environments with high levels of fumes and dust. The KemTex® ePTFE membrane filter cartridge for ultrafine dust even separates particles smaller than 0.1μm.
